Through my own experiences, even prior to the pandemic. I’ve been given the opportunity to understand medicine and what lays with it.
Some fantastic doctors that have become my friends and life line
some ugliness that caused me to sit with my mouth dropped in….. um, shock, confusement, disgust and even embarrassment. Embarrassment for them.

Having a second set of ears and wisdom with me. I would always later ask

“can you explain this better please”
many times recently, I’ve gotten up mid appointment and walked out or wheeled out.
